At the School of Science and Technology, Singapore (SST), learning is purposeful, hands-on and connected to the world beyond the classroom. As a specialised independent school, SST nurtures curious and inventive students who apply science, technology, engineering and design to solve meaningful real-world problems. Through project-based learning, experimentation and collaboration with institutes of higher learning, research organisations and industry partners, students develop the knowledge, creativity and confidence to contribute positively to society. At this showcase, SST students will present robotics projects developed through both the school curriculum and Robotics @ APEX, SST’s Robotics Co-Curricular Activity. The curriculum projects feature robotics-based design challenges in which students integrate computing, electronics and engineering to design, build and program systems that respond to authentic needs. The Robotics @ APEX displays highlight students’ technical skills, teamwork and resilience developed through competitions and hands-on projects. Visitors can interact with the students, explore their robots and discover how robotics provides a platform for learning, innovation and problem-solving.
