North West Community Development Council & Nee Soon Link - B19

North West CDC, in partnership with Nee Soon Link, piloted an innovative AI-powered facial recognition attendance system to make community health activities such as brisk walking more seamless and convenient. Moving beyond traditional pen-and-paper registration, participants can simply have their photo taken, allowing the system to recognize registered participants and automatically record their attendance. The innovation streamlines administration while enabling automatic tracking and computation of health points, which participants can accumulate and exchange for benefits and rewards. This pilot demonstrates how practical AI solutions can be applied within the community to encourage active living, improve participation experiences, and make community programs smarter and more efficient.
