“Screen Smart from the Start” is a nationwide MDDI movement to help families build healthy and balanced digital habits in children from young. The initiative supports parents through a one-stop Be Screen Smart resource portal with age-appropriate digital parenting guidance, promotes meaningful screen-free activities such as reading, play and family bonding, and strengthens community support through partnerships. Complementing Grow Well SG, the movement takes a whole-of-society approach to help parents manage screen use confidently while ensuring children develop healthier lifelong relationships with technology.
